Here you can find classical sheet music by famous piano composers, sorted alphabetically with short bios detailing their accomplishments and lives.

At the moment this page includes  the composers Ludwig van Beethoven, Johann Sebastien Bach, Johannes Brahms, Frederic Chopin, Claude Debussy, Franz Liszt, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Johann Pachelbel, Erik Satie, Franz Schubert, Robert Schumann and Peter Tchaikovsky. Although not all the famous piano composers are listed here these are the most prominent in piano sheet music. They all vary in genres, from Baroque to Classical to Romantic to Modern to Impressionist. I will look to add more famous piano composers over time as I see fit. Johann Sebastien Bach was born on March 31 1685 and is a German organist, harpsichordist, violist, violinist, and composer of the Baroque period. Bach is known as one of the greatest composers all time as well as perfecting the many styles of music in his period.Ludwig van Beethoven was Ludwig was born on December 17 1770 and was a German composer and pianist. He is an extremely influential composer of the Classical and Romantic eras in music. His best known works include 9 symphonies, 32 piano sonatas, and 16 string quartets. This site is based around his Moonlight Sonata sheet music.Johannes Brahms was born on May 7 1833 and is a German pianist and composer. He was highly popular and influential and his style includes many aspects of the Baroque and Classical eras.

Frédéric Chopin was born on March 1 1810 and was a Polish composer and pianist. He is most famous during the Romantic era and is thought to be one of the greatest composers in that era. Chopin received his music education in Warsaw and wrote many piano compositions, most of them for solo pianists.Achille-Claude Debussy was born on August 22 1862 and was a French composer. He was an influential figure for Impressionist music and certainly one of the most famous of all composers. His style is very unique, as he incorporates many unorthodox techniques when composing, usually involving mathematics.Franz Liszt was born on October 22 1911 and was a Hungarian composer, teacher, conductor, and pianist. He was well known in the 19th century in Europe as a skilled pianist. Many have considered him to be on the lizst of famous piano composers.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born on January 27 1756 and was an extremely famous and influential composer of the Classical era. He is known to have been a genius and composed at the age of five. He composed over 600 works and many are famous.Johann Pachelbel was born on September 1 1653 and was a German organist, teacher, and composer of the Baroque era. He helped develop the prelude and fugue and contributed greatly to the Baroque era. His style is very simple with harmonic and melodic balance.Erik Satie was born on May 17 1866 and was a French composer and pianist. Satie helped bring about movements in art involving minimalism and repetitive music. His most famous works is known as Gymnopedies.

Franz Peter Schubert was born on January 31 1797 and was an Austrian composer. Schubert was an incredible composer with over 600 works in his lifetime. Schubert was a major influence of the Romantic era.Robert Schumann was born on June 8 1810 and was a German composer and music critic. His music was of the Romantic era. Schumann wanted to become a great pianist but a hand injury ended his dream, thus driving his focus to composing. His composed for piano and orchestras.Peter Tchaikovsky was born on May 7 1840 and was a Russian composer. His works included concertos, operas, ballets, symphonies, and chamber music. His music has won him acclaim internationally and his music is still very well known to this day.
