Jingle Bells Sheet Music

Jingle Bells Sheet Music

Jingle Bells sheet music is perhaps the best known Christmas song in the world. It would be miraculous to find a single soul that has not heard of this jolly song. Commonly sung during Christmas time Jingle Bells sheet music was actually first published under the title “One Horse Open Sleigh” by James Lord Pierpont in 1857. But in 1859 it was reprinted with the new title “Jingle Bells”. It was also meant to be sung for Thanksgiving but since then it has become associated with Christmas and the holiday season  Recommended for beginner pianists.

Lyrics:

Oh, jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh

A day or two ago
I thought I’d take a ride
And soon Miss Fanny Bright
Was seated by my side
The horse was lean and lank
Misfortune seemed his lot
We got into a drifted bank
And then we got upsot

Oh, jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh yeah

Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
